| MEET TRICIA |
Hi, I’m Tricia, and I am so glad you have dropped by to view my
web page. I am the owner of Tricia’s Dance Extreme located at
211 South Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. I am also the mother
of a beautiful baby girl. Dance has filled a great part of my life
for the last sixteen years. It is also what drove the dream of
one day opening my own dance studio. As a young girl, dance
helped me to build self confidence and allowed me to be part of
a group that shared in the same love of moving to the “BEAT”,
whatever it may have been. Through my dance studio I’d like to
share the same with my students. Working with children and
watching them grow through the art of dance is the basis of my
endeavor. Training with many well known people has given me
the capability in offering a positive experience in which all
participants will grow to their potential.
Over the years I have competed in many talent competitions
and attended classes in numerous dance studios both at home
and out of the area. This has broadened my horizons in
different techniques and styles. In my younger days I toured
with Al Albert’s Showcase, which I’m sure many of you
remember viewing on television. I was also fortunate enough
over the years to study under Frank Hatchett, Leslie Feliciano,
and Rhapsody James. Traveling to New York, the dance
studios of Alvin Ailey NYC and Broadway Dance Center NYC
brought even more diversity to my dance experience. While
there, I attended workshops at Monsters of Hip-Hop with
choreographer, Tabitha Dumo who is well known for her work
with Americas Best Dance Crew and Dancing With The Stars.
Dave Scott, another talented choreographer who has worked
with Brittany Spears, Jlo, and Justin Timberlake, also played a
part in the experience I am bringing to you. My teaching
certification for dance instruction was then obtained through
Broadway Dance NYC. I am always updating my classes to the
newest styles.
